Chad Ortis

Restaurant Manager

Originally from south Louisiana, Chad Ortis’ career in hospitality has taken him across the country. He worked Front of House in Chicago, in the mountains of North Georgia and in Los Angeles, including as a wine director at The Buffalo Club in Santa Monica. He returned to the South in 2009 to further his career, accepting a management position at Commander’s Palace. “As a hospitality professional, I can’t think of a better city to work in than New Orleans,” says Chad.

In 2014, Chad joined Link Restaurant Group, first as a manager at Peche. In fall 2018, he became General Manager of Herbsaint. Following his time at Herbsaint, Chad joined Chemin à la Mer as Manager and was promoted to General Manager in 2026.

In his spare time, Chad is an avid fisherman and enjoys the outdoors.
